Speedwatch Project
The Parish Council is appealing for expressions of interest from people who may wish to help monitor and enforce speed limits in the village.
The Parish Council is exploring the suggestion that, like Feering, Kelvedon should set up a volunteer team to undertake regular Speed Watch activities. Equipment, training and safety clothing are all provided and in return volunteers make a commitment to a minimum of an hour's duty weekly.
If you think you would like to take part, please register your interest with the Clerk. We need at least six volunteers - so if you know someone who is concerned at the dangers posed by speeding traffic and would like to take positive action to make the village a safer place, please urge them to come forward now!
