Each committee or sub-committee usually meets four times a year. The date of each meeting is fixed to suit the availability of members and, in the case of each sub-committee, the day of the week the meeting occurs may vary from one meeting to the next. They are held in the Parish Council Chamber and all are open for public attendance. Membership of sub-committees and outside bodies.
Thursday 22 April 2010 Each year, every Parish Council has to hold an Annual Assembly to which all electors are invited and at which all may speak. As residents do not have the right to speak at ordinary council meetings unless business is first adjourned, the assembly presents a unique opportunity for electors to debate matters of current interest or concern - and indeed to pose questions to parish, district and county councillors, their MP and also speakers from the police and other services.
