Membership of the Kelvedon Parish Council.

Meetings start at 7.45pm and are held in the Kelvedon Parish Council Chamber, (The Old Fire Station), 102 High Street, Kelvedon CO5 9AA.

All meetings are open for public attendance.

Agendas and minutes will be published on this page as they become available. Please note that minutes appear in draft form until they are approved at the following month's meeting of the full council.

Committee Meetings for 2008

Membership of sub-committees and outside bodies.

Each committee or sub-committee usually meets four times per annum. The date of each meeting is fixed to suit the availability of members and, in the case of each sub-committee, the day of the week the meeting occurs may vary from one meeting to the next. Committee meetings generally start at 8.00pm. They are held in the Parish Council Chamber and all are open for public attendance.

Environment: meets four times a year, usually February, May, August and November.

Finance: meets four times a year, usually January, April, July and October.
Next meeting - Tuesday 14 October 2008

Planning: meets on alternate Mondays at 7.00pm unless otherwise stated.
Next meetings in 2008 - 4 and Tuesday 26 August, 15 and 29 September, 13 and 27 October, 10 and 24 November, 8 and 29 December.

Recreation: meets four times a year, usually March, June, September and December.

Footpath: no regular schedule.

Public Meetings

Annual Parish Assembly, Thursday 24 April 2008

Each year, every Parish Council has to hold an Annual Assembly to which all electors are invited and at which all may speak. As residents do not have the right to speak at ordinary council meetings unless business is first adjourned, the assembly presents a unique opportunity for electors to debate matters of current interest or concern - and indeed to pose questions to parish, district and county councillors, their MP and also speakers from the police and other services.
