Logo design competition
News - 20 December 2006
Have you got what it takes? Do you know someone who has? We challenge you to design our Parish Council logo.
Kelvedon Parish Council announces a competition
inviting you to design a logo for use by the Parish Council on its web site and
stationery.
This is an exciting opportunity to submit your work, which may be selected for
use on all Kelvedon Parish Council media for the foreseeable future.
The competition is open to all.
The logo should seek to capture something of the spirit and nature of Kelvedon.
It should also provide a design capable of graphically projecting a corporate
image for Kelvedon Parish Council, making its publications readily identifiable.
A panel of Parish Councillors and the Webmaster will judge entries. The Council
will adopt the winning logo for its use.
Prize
The Parish Council will award the winner a prize of £50 (fifty pounds).
Additional prizes may be made available if the judges consider this is merited.
Conditions
Entering into the competition indicates a competitor’s consent to give the
Parish Council exclusive use of the chosen logo on its entire media, free of
cost and copyright restrictions. Entry also indicates the competitor’s agreement
to their design being amended. The Parish Council reserves the right not to
select a winner from the entries submitted.

work and must be suitable for use on web site pages where it will not
