Patient & Public Involvement Forum for Health in Mid Essex seeks more volunteers

An appeal is currently underway to recruit more volunteers to help the Forum work to its full potential. If you care about your local health community, do something positive this year - join the Forum. You don’t need to be experienced, just possess a willingness to improve local health services for you and your community.
The PPIF for Health in Mid Essex monitors services commissioned and provided by the Mid Essex Primary Care Trust. It is the only patient representative group allowed to enter premises to inspect and monitor services provided by the Trust.
The Forum is made up from three locality groups: Braintree, Chelmsford and Maldon. Each group meets separately on a monthly basis in their local area and come together every other month for a whole Forum meeting.
