New councillor appointed
News - 22 September 2007
Following Election Day earlier this year, the council was left with a vacancy because there were insufficient nominations to warrant a ballot being held.
In accordance with established procedures the council can announce that the vacancy has now been filled. At September’s council meeting, Mr Henry (Robert) Siggers was selected and appointed to serve as a councillor as a co-opted member. He takes up his position forthwith.
