New parish car park

Work to begin building the new car park for the Parish Council on the land to the rear of the Conservative Club moves a step closer.
At the January meeting, councillors debated the project, its cost and implications and made a firm choice as to their preferred option.
Funding and planning permission are both already in place. The council's Car Park Steering Group is currently working with its consulting engineers to iron out final queries. It is expected that a start date for this major project will be announced in the very near future.
