Invitation to the Annual Parish Assembly
News - 6 April 2009
All Kelvedon electors, and members of societies and organisations, are most
cordially invited to attend this year’s Annual Parish Assembly on 23 April 2009.
The Assembly is open to all local residents, of all ages and interests, and is the chance to hear about the council’s activities
over the past year and its plans for the future.
At this year’s Assembly, reports will be presented by parish, district and
county council Members on work undertaken during the year on behalf of the village, plus
special reports from our Member of Parliament and the local police.
Unlike the normal formal meetings of the council, members of the audience may
ask questions and participate in the debate, so you can play an active part in the
proceedings and raise matters with your local elected representatives.
It promises to be an interesting and lively evening, rounded off with a cup of
tea and informal chats with your councillors.
Please come and join us, and bring your friends and neighbours. We look forward
to seeing you.
IT’S YOUR VILLAGE – YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
