Kelvedon Emergency Plan, March 2007 - consultation now
closed
Kelvedon Parish Council is presently drawing up
an Emergency Plan for the parish in order to guide it during any future
unexpected emergency. The plan aims to minimise the effects of the emergency,
provide assistance and help restore normality as quickly as possible. The plan
seeks to identify the practical steps the parish council and local people could
take to support their immediate local community at a time of urgent need. The
plan will supplement but does not replace the existing contingency plans already
in place with the emergency services and the county and district council. We aim
to be prepared for the occasion when the village cannot be reached by other
assistance or the emergency services are stretched.
-
Do you have knowledge or a skill to offer that might be useful in an emergency?
-
Do you have resources or equipment that could provide valuable assistance, or do
you know somebody that does?
-
Can you offer any suggestions as to the provisions the Parish Council might wish
to include?
