A series of leaflets depicting circular walks of varying lengths and styles has been launched by Kelvedon Parish Council. There are four routes available now and others are scheduled to follow.
Each leaflet contains a description of the walk, a route plan and where applicable points of interest encountered on the journey. The leaflets are A4 size with single-side print and have been cunningly designed to allow them to be folded and carried in a pocket so that the directions and plan remain easily accessible.
These leaflets are available to download here in the original (full colour) or printer-friendly versions.
If you are unable to print a copy, the leaflets may be purchased from the Parish Clerk for the nominal sum of 25p. A packing and posting charge will be applied to orders received from those unable to come to the parish office in person.

Length: 4 miles (with two shorter variations and one longer)
Time: approx 1 1/2 hours.
Easy walking, but tracks can be muddy and heavily churned by agricultural vehicles in winter. Field paths can be unpleasantly sticky in winter, but are usually easy going after weed killing in the spring.
Attention to road safety is critical when crossing the High St and London Road and using Hollow Road.
Children are best accompanied. |
