A120/B1024 Colne Road junction – electronic message sign replacement work
I am writing to inform you that we’ll be carrying out essential work to replace three electronic message signs on the A120 at the Colne Road junction. Replacing them will increase awareness of the junction and improve safety.
Road closures and diversions
To carry out our work safely, we will close the A120 overnight between 8pm and 6am over two weekends. The first closures will be overnight Saturday 30 October and Sunday 31 October. We will write to you again once we have a confirmed date for the second weekend.
Whilst the A120 is closed, westbound traffic will be diverted via the A12 junction 25 at Marks Tey, the A130 and A131 before re-joining the A120 at Braintree. Eastbound traffic will follow the same diversion route but in reverse.
The A120 will remain open for access to residential and local traffic only.
